Import Data Sets from Model Data Matrix
The Import Data Sets from Model Data Matrix option in the File menu's Import Data Set(s) items will import spectral data from an ASCII data matrix you have built for the program's spectral modeling.
The data must be in the ASCII CSV matrix format used for the Import Spectroscopic Modeling Data option in the Model menu.
You can use multiple selection (holding the Ctl key down to select individual spectra one at a time, or the Shift key down to select all spectra between two bounds in the list) to import up to the program's limit of 25 data sets. The count selected is shown just above the list.
This is a convenient way to store spectral data for both modeling purposes and for data import.
After the data have been selected, you must select the starting and ending X-columns for the import. Only the specified columns are imported, an easy way to generate a set of spectra of a specific wavelength band.
Once the data are imported, you can save the program's default PFD file format containing these specific imported spectra.
